8 Ways Real Homeschool Moms Teach Math
Recently on Facebook, Michele asked our readers for ideas on how real homeschool moms teach math. She was in the middle of writing an article for the HEDUA blog and needed some more ideas to flesh out what she had written.

“As homeschool parents, one of the great advantages we have is to seize every opportunity for learning.
Sometimes those moments are amazing memory-makers, like taking a two-week road trip through the South Island of New Zealand. Other times, those moments are ordinary and oft-forgotten. And then there are those times when you are just so frustrated and worn out you are determined to find a lesson in there somewhere just so you can mentally check off another subject for the day and let the kids loose to play while you search for your secret stash of chocolate.”
