Simple Homeschool Organization: Magazine Files

One system that seems to be working well right now sits in my office across from my desk.

Previously I had books stacked for each child in school;  some are texts or workbooks they are currently using that I need to access daily (test booklets, etc.).  Others are texts I've purchased for next year that I want to review and/or plan around as I can get to them, usually at the end of the day.

Our schoolroom is upstairs but our office is downstairs and so in order to avoid trekking up and down the stairs numerous times, I've made sure that these books can be within arms reach.  Or maybe I'm just lazy.

Each child has their own magazine holder.  I also have one labeled "Science", one labeled "History", and one for "Miscellaneous".
