Teach Your Preschooler- Ten Days of Delighting in Your Preschooler
Mom, what do you love to do? Is it something you could teach your preschooler to do, too? It's a given that our preschoolers have shorter attention spans than we do by hours, but a few minutes working on something you love with the little person you love could be delightful!
The above photo is from 2002, when my now-12-year-old daughter was only three. We had just moved into the home we live in now, and we were surrounded by boxes. I think the stress of moving had gotten to me, and I grabbed my knitting needles, my eager daughter, and a few quiet moments to relax and enjoy.
If our lives with preschoolers become all about the work of preschoolers, we will soon lose our delight in them. Yes, they make life tricky. But they truly are something to delight in!
